Make-up Designory: NYC CAMPUS..Location..Location..Location!

Soho (South of Houston) was originally known as the Cast Iron District for its distinct buildings. It is located in the southern part of Manhattan and is a favorite destination for fashion conscious New Yorkers and visitors alike. Dotted along small cobble stone streets and nestled into 19th century cast iron buildings sits some of New York’s most trendy shops and boutiques. Soho is home to cosmetic stand-alone stores for such lines as Shu Uemura and FACE Stockholm as well as mainstays such as MAC and Chanel. Equal to its shopping venues, the area is abound with cafes and restaurants, and is walking distance to Tribecca and Greenwich Village.

The area is easily accessible by New York City Metro. Subway stations for the A, C, E, N, R and 6 trains are within a few blocks of the school.

New York City was the obvious choice for Make-up Designory to place its east coast facility. New York, long the theater and fashion center of the United States, is now increasingly a hub for film and television. ABC, CBS and NBC have always had major production centers in New York. In recent years the stars of cable television including ESPN, CNN, The History Channel and MTV have joined them. New York is home to the David Letterman show, daytime soap operas and the very successful crime series, “Law and Order” and their spin off shows. Besides being a major location site for film production, studio production in New York city has increased with the addition of new sound stages. The Tribecca Film Festival has brought an international focus on the city as a center for film

Make-up Designory’s New York facility is located in the heart of Soho on West Broadway between Spring and Broome Streets. There, Make-up Designory's neighbors include Anthropologie, Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger.
